have you tried to look at the wiring diagram for the box in the haynes/chiltons manual and see where the power in/out wires are for it and test them there?

haha funny thing. and i will sound like an idiot. but theres a switch i didnt know about in the trunk the switches it from auto to manual. it got hit some how and someone told me anbout the switch so i checked it out. and sure enough it was on manual.

its in the trunk. you take the driver side tail light cover. the cover you take off to get to the bulbs. and its right there by the antenna. i never felt so dumb when i figured it out. lol. but also made me so happy. lol

I bet, I woulda been freaking out too lol Its goos to know where these things are. Did you see my post about this strange black box under the passenger seat? I think it has something to do with the CD Changer in the trunk, but not sure. I know when I plugged it back in the interior lights started flashing! So I unplugged it lol.

so far the running theory is that its the factory sound system amp. This makes sense since most factory radios only put out 15 Watts, especially for mine since its the infinity system. I think this next weekend I will try to unplug the wire connector and see what happens lol I just know where it is would be a perfect place to install an atom pc and go from there for my idea on a better sound system/ radio :)
