You might have a problem just putting on a turbo because usually a non-turbo motor has a higher compression ratio than a turbo motor.Plus, you will need a new turbo specific ECU and associated wiring and sensors.I can't help you with aftermarket turbos asI am unfamiliar with them.My car is an 94 GS non-turbo and I feel your pain withnot having enough power.Good luck, maybe someone in the know can help you out.

First check out this site. Alot of information for your 2G...

http://www.dsmtuners.com/

Now you could rebuild a new motor and when done just do a swap or you can turbo your own. It really is up to you and how much money your willing to spend and what your tring to accomplish.

i just bought a 97 GS in which the previous owner installed a turbo on the 2.0 non-turbo engine. this is completely fine. look up hahn racecraft turbo systems which are made specifically for this sort of thing.you will be faster than a GST, and pay way cheaper insureance. i think your looking at about 3 grand in the end.

I am still on the huntfor power but I came across www.hahnracecraft.com

and it might have a turbo kit that you could use. I, myself, have a 97 gs and am thinking of getting a stage 2 turbo kit. I am still looking so that I can compare. I got a while before I decide but I want to tune my whip sooner than later. anyways, I hope this link is helpful........
