Well I know I drove mine for about a week just back and forth to work because it was my only way. If you HAVE to drive it...do not floor it! Drive like a little old granny and let the RPMs go up the best they can. Do not force the car. I still haven't done a little leak test on my pistons but we will find out soon enough. Good that they are paying for it!

As far as emissions...what is that!? LOL! Nah, I have taken one before just for the hell of it and I failed miserably...lol.

so the dealership is being really gay right now. they dont want to pay for it. They want me to bring it in and let THEIR FRIEND get it to pass emissions. I dont trust these people at all. The guy will probably just install another cat, or a flamethrower exhaust to get it to pass. Thats BS. im not letting them touch my car. Small claims court here i come.[:@]

Yeah I know all to well about the dealerships BS. My engine blew and I had a Mitsubishi dealership replace the engine for me. After the first 2 weeks I was raising hell to why it wasent done. Went in there to see what happend and they had put a piston in with a different ratio then the rest. 1 piston from a 2.0 and 3 from a spyder 2.4 (new block)..... Dumb asses. Then once returned I drove it for about a week and smoke comes from under the hood. Look under there and my timing belt is worn down to almost nothing. They tried to say it was my fault and not fix the problem!! Dealerships make enuogh money to were customer satisfaction in car repairs doesnt have to be there number 1 goal. BASTARDS![:@]

ok this is bs, theyve officially proclaimed theyre not paying for it with quite some colorful language over the phone, so ive decided to just return it. Its not worth fixing myself. at 160K, it will probably need a full rebuild sometime soon anyways.
I've had my run ins with ******** at dealerships before, but this takes the cake. Spread the word far and wide that Kev's Autos, on 82nd street in portland, Oregon, is completely run and operated by a bunch of decieving bastards.
