No horn when arming
 

May be easy, but my horn wont chirp when I lock or unlock the doors. It also does not sound when the alarm goes off, the lights flash but no sound.... I tried what my owners manuel says ( hold lock for 4-10 secs and press the unlock and release both) but no luck.


Any ideas?

what happened on mine was the wire leading to the horn in the front of the car had come out of the horn it self. check the horn usually located near the bumber in the front of the car right on the inside when you open your hood...i cut mine off and re-ran a wire that was longer so that is was not able to be pulled out again. it was easy to do, let me know if this helps

2001 I guess it g3, anyway the spade connector on the alarm horn was broken. I put a new connector on and all is well.
