Default obd question

I was wondering if i should order a new obd for the 6-bolt swap or would the 2g work fine i already got new motor mounts from roadraceengineering.com and new gasket for oil pan and head i also have a question i was told that i would have to grind my starter housing a bit to fit the block does anyone know if there any truth to that ?

Default RE: obd question

I have no idea on that... BUt I think if you're doing a swap you'll likely be replacing the ECU and with that the wiring harness. Therefore by proxy the OBD II port should be on the new harness if I'm not mistaken. In other words yes you'll need to swap the port as well unless you are keeping the old ECU.
