i have the 3pc stock wing on my car now but i want the high wing that most of the turbos come with, now i know i would have to fill some of the holes from the 3 pc but would the high wing fit with the same holes as the 3pc

yeah, there would be alot of bridge welding to do. The biggest eye sore will be the 2 inch round hole right in the middle of your hatch where your third brake light cable goes through. Pretty big job. Ive done it on acouple of eclipse and talons.

i dont think he meant to try to do it without any painting or welding, he meant if the wing would bolt onto the holes on the sides... but would still have to weld up the center hole and quarter panels... the best and easiest way to do it is to put a small piece of metal under the holes and tach weld 'em in, then grind all the welds down and bondo over it... the cleaner you get the welds and the grinding the less bondo you'll have to use, and that less the better, less chance of cracking

really, to me the best way, which is what i'm gonna do is just to get the trunk hatch already done like that. try and find one in a junk yard or something.

that'd be the easiest, sure, but more expensive... plus you'd have to paint more of it

yea, and there's a good chance that if you got it from a junk yard you'd get broken glass and have to switch that out... but you might get lucky

Why not run your car wingless? Go for the clean look with some decent wheels. I bet it would look decent.
