Default pretty sure its the clutch

so my car grinds 3rd sometimes,i have a stage 3 clutch no name brand,my tranny good so heres my question, what act clutch should i get for my 2g gst, imma do like 300-350 to the wheels,is the act 2100 any good for that, but my setup right now is at about 230hp,would the act2100 still be good for that setup, and should get a light flywheel?

First of all I don't think that it sounds like the clutch, if it disengauges then it shouldn't gring, that sounds like it is the tranny becuase all the clutch does is engauge and disengauge, if it is doing that then it shouldn't have anything to do with the clutch. But if you are going to replace it you should get a ACT 2600 with a street disc, go ahead and do the flywheel since you are in there.

3rd gear seems to be touch on my tranny too, I don't know why.

if it is the syncros you are going to have to tear it apart, it is definently not the clutch.

Ya.. Your gonna need to pull the whole tranny off, so your fluid is gonna come out anyways.. And if you find a way to keep the tranny fluid in there when you fix it.. Your doing something wrong!
