Question about my starting on my 95 GSX when cold?? plz help thanks
Ok so..i have a AMAZING GSX eclipse and i love it to death its my everything..more than my girl. Its extreamly fixed up to beat ALOT of cars.. But the only thing i can complain about or not the greatest fan abuot is that when its cold and not warm..it takes a lil bit to start. I turn the key then stop after about 3 sec..then turn key it starts then dies.. that happens about 4-5 times mabye more give or take the temperature... But then it will start..idle at abuot 2000 then fall to 1500 for a while then just wanna be at 1000 and sputter and die unless i keep on gas a lil bit to keep around 1500-2100 rpm... That might be normal for the way engine is built.. and size of turbo and fuel injectors but i dont know..And the car runs great , and will idle fine after it warms up a little.. and then as long as its warm i can go start the car but it will wannna idle aroud 1000 and mabye die..unless i keep on gas for like 30 sec.. "its alot shorter than when cold" Here is a list of mods so if you can help me that would be great or tell me if its normal for a BUilt engine like this.. And like i said it runs great..like a champ but better when warmed up..so i doubt its timming..
BTW: this car does 558 AWHP at 32 psi boost.. I got dynos to proove it..so im not sure if its a normal thing for bad *** cars like this..thanks

i like the car, dont care for after market bumpers but yours aint too bad, only thing on it i really dont like is the tail lights, maybe it looks better in person

sebba, not sure what his other thread is, but sorry if i repeat what you said.. im thinkin it is cuz it is a turbo, you have to get that oil flowing better, thats why especially on a turbo car you should let it warm up before you drive it around
