Hey guys, stupid question. Seriously, it is. Please dont laugh. Lol. But I am a little confused when you guys mention racing fuel. Where do you get racing fuel? Are you guys just talking about Premium?

Nope. I think you can get it at performance shops and i assure you they are not talking about premium. Its basically just really high octane stuff. I think there is even an online guide to making your own... however i think there can be certain... side effects? lol

The racing fuel we used in our 1974 drag camaro was called Blue Lightning, and if I remember right it was rated at around 118 octane. We just got it at the local drag strip. Oh and I wouldn't put it in your car unless you got a lot of stuff done to it, because its not going to give you any real gains (besides it cost a ton more than the fuels at gas stations). Basically it allows you to tune the car farther because of the fuel's resistance to predetonation.
