AN automatic supra is faster than a maunal!>?>??!!?!?!?!?????

Any auto DRAG car is faster then a stick(when modified!). Auto trannys never miss a gear, and if you get a massive stall with some sticky tires you can get some crazy low 60's. My buddys TA has a 32 stall and that bitch pulls 1.8 60's which is equivalant to an awd launch.

stock for stock auto supras are still faster. the gearing in them is not as top end heavy like the 6 spd. Basically the auto makes less power to the ground than the 6spd but runs a faster 1\4 mile. the 6spd will get a few more MPH up top

I hate them because upshifts are jerky and horrible and downshifts are slow and anoying. The only car to rectify the problem is the new Golf GTI because of its twin clutch paddle gearbox. One clutch for 1st - 3 and 5 and one for 2 and 4. That way the next gear can get upto speed and simply engage that clutch and save alot of time... also it sences if you just going to keep going or back off and downshift... so the gear below is always available. Now.... if every car manufacturer took the same aproach i would have no problem driving one. However i still have the problem that i dont have a friggin clutch pedal... i dont like that at all. It makes me nervous to drive something without having total control over the clutch
