(constructive help only please) any idea on what kind of turbo to buy and what all i exactly need? kind of new to all of this so what do i need to buy and what should i buy? (turbo type? intercooler etc) thanks for the help!

I was going to do that to my 99 GS also. But I decided to leave it alone, since it's not a popular choice. Almost everyone says it's a better idea to just buy a GST.

yea i mean without building the block your only looking at running about 8psi on a 16g turbo. Check out Hahn Racecraft for info. Also youll need all new fuel and you can an intercooler from ebay and try and find a good piping kit. But hahn sells one of the most complete kits for the 420a.

Plenty of people turbo those cars fine, its just you wont see big gains without big money.

Also treadstone makes a decent proven kit

if you have to ask all of this stuff, no offense, but you are not ready. this isnt just a day long project. if you want to see any worthwhile power increase, you need to build your engine. not to mention the transmissions are crap on these cars. point being, its not just throwing a turbo on thats involved. do your research first
