my rear defroster doesnt work on my car i have a 95' eclipse....i dont have the owners manual and was wondering if anyone could tell me where the fuse is located....i mean i know where the fuses are but i just dont know which one is for the defroster....if it isnt the fuse can anyone suggest a possible problem for me?

if you have the owners manual check there and see if it tells you which fuse that is hooked up to. Does the button light up when you puch it for the defroster?

thanks.....i dont really wanna buy a book just for my rear defroster...and it might not even be the fuse so it would just be a waste of money for me expecially when i got a great thing called the internet where i can just ask highly intelligent people for help:D

also if the light comes on it most likly is not a fuse get a test liht and unplug one of the hotplugs that go into the window see if there is power to thos if so it is prob in the window.

the light might still light up even if the fuse is bad, they may use a different sorce for power between the window and the LED on the dash. im not sure the chances of that though. Def. buy the owners manual though it will save you alot of time rather than waiting for one of us to find it.

RE: Rear defroster

i would say its probably bad wiring. either going to the back or the window itself. Like get435 said, get a etst light and check the wiring.
