Default Replace Thrust Bearings

I a 99 gs-t and since last week my car has had intermittant problems at idle. Some times it idels rough and even when I'm driving and push the clutch in it will cut out but start up right away. I have also had the clutch pedal stick down like I have air in the line. I know this is what Crankwalk is and I need some help. I need to know how to replace the main thrust bearings without removing the engine. Is there a way to remove the oil pan and swap the bearings out. I need specific directions. Also I'm trying to sell the car and I need to know if this is something I can do before I sell it or if I should just sell it as is.

well you can drop the oil pan and remove the crank but youll also need to remove the transmission. If you dont know already how to do something like this then i wouldnt suggest trying it without help from an experienced person.

I can't just remove the oil pan and take off the main cap holding the crank shaft and slide the new bearings in then re-attach the main cap while the crank is held in the engine?

well there are bearings on both sides of the crank. Again not trying to be an *** and in all seriousness, with these questions you are asking i would highly reccomend getting someone that has built and engine before and understands it. In order to replace bearings the crank must be removed

I would suggest pulling the pan and measure the crank end play to see if you have crank walk.
