Hey guys. I had my built in resonator on my exhaust taken off today. Supposebly, it would have made my exhaust louder, but it didnt. It sounds maybe a little louder, but not too much of a difference. Is it suppose to make it louder? I did feel a little difference though. I felt like my turbo spooled up a little quicker. But then again, i only drove it for about 5 min. I drove it from the shop back to school and havent taken it out since. But my question is, is it suppose to make it louder? or give me any power at all? I heard that it would.

I just had my resonator cut out and 3" straight pipe installed in my apexi n1 system,it made a substansial-sp gain in sound and nothing noticeable in power, not that it mattered,i was only aiming for noise because the system was just tooo quiet like almost stock.Maybe you could get a test pipe to replace your cat,or if you dont have one,get a hiflo cat...i know that mine sounds awsome at wot and would not change for anything

Yeah, i dont have a downpipe yet. But I was just wandering about that resonator. I guess it doesnt make that big of a difference. As soon as i get money, i will buy that downpipe.
