ok i seen this smoke paint stuff for like headlights and taillights....i was wondering if anyone else has used this stuff

or knows any place that has better paint...does this crap chip

From Summit Racing

It's been used by many vehicles and there's not a lot of bad posts about them as far as chipping goes. The only thing is that they go on with a "matte" look to it, so if you want it shiny, you'll have to add clearcoat on top of it.

my friend w/ the black evo used the same stuff Silver mentioned on his tail lights and it looks great!!!! just make sure that you read and use the directions step by step b/c my same friend tried it on his SRT-4 before and screwed it up.

yea man, i used that vent shade stuff from summit and just "smoked" my lights... just a little extra touch but it looks way better! i'll try to get a pic for ya

You know i was thinking the same thing ever since silver put up the pictures of that eclipse with the avenger front.... imo a eclipse may look awesome with smoked tails, but im always afraid to say so cuz of ppl thinking im ricey (which im not haha)

i don't think it's rice at all! i think it's a great way to accent your car to make it unique. IMO it looks great ESPECIIALLY if you take the center piece off and paint it the same color as the car.

my cousin used the same stuff on his 3g altezza ricey taillights and now it looks much better.. just be careful cuz the aerosol will fly around.. if you take the headlights/ taillights out to spray them ur safe.. otherwise be careful the spray doesnt get on ur car.. it wont come off
