THe further you go with power the less life your motor will have. But get all those mods then worry about a tune, if you tune it first you will need another tune again. Now for software I am not sure if you can reflash the stock DSM ECU I know EVOs can but you gotta sent out the ecu or fly them in to do it. Other than that buy an SAFC and a wideband o2 and you can do it within an hour.

so basically i dont need a softwre for my car. how about if i put a bigger turbo kit later on is the stock ECU enough for all the power and the mods.
also could i put a manual boost controller on the stock GST and turn my boost up to 10 or 12 psi after moving the BCS restrictor

Thanks

your stock fuel system will take up to 16psi, so yes when you remove the bsc and get a real boost gauge and a mbc you can crank her up. But for the most performance out of the car it would be best to get an exaust and intake before you pump up the boost.

What exactly is the BCS restrictor?

its in the vac line that goes from the compressor housing on the turbo to the wg actuator that limits the amount of boost... its a fail safe for the wg actuator spring. By just removing it you can gain another 1-2lbs of boost.

stock boost is 10-12 PSI with an upgraded fuel system then you will need to tune the car. you shouldnt upgrade the turbo with out fuel or you will most likely be sorry unless you dont drive it hard untill you get fuel

Yeah get the fuel system upgrades first then worry about your bigger turbo. Kinda like building a house. You don't put the walls up the build the framed do you? You need the frame to support the walls. Just like you need the fuel system to support the turbo.

if i change my fuel pump and the injectors( what kinda injectors do I need? ) and run 3" exhaust then buy the MBC and the Boost Gauge after removing the BCS restrictor. Can I run my car @ 14 psi or more.

How am I gonna tune my car after all that changes. COuld u give me ideas on that .

Thanks
