alright so don't flame me about asking this, i've looked around and searched for the sounds of what crankwalk sounds like in it's early stages and i have a video of what mine sounds like i just don't know where to upload it from my computer it's 40.something MB. so i was wondering if anyone had one already up so i can compare it to mine. or if anyone would like to upload it for me that would be great as well. thanks

That actually sounds like a pulley thats loose or something. Or are you positive its coming from inside the motor?

ehh i dunno, thats kinda what mine sounded like and it spun rod bearings.. but it does kinda sound like it could be a loose pulley, but if you are possitive it is from the internal engine.. thats not good lol..

i'm not sure if it's in the engine or not i just know it's on that side of the motor

hmm... my vote goes towards loose pulley as well, but stick a crow bar or big screwdriver down the side of the motor (with it off) and see if you can wiggle any of the pulleys

could a loose pully come from a belt being all old and needing replacment?
