Hey all, i need a lil help.....


The speaker thats in the dash of my 2001 eclipse is blown, i need to get it out, and a new one to replace it...... and bein the type that i am i dont wanna pay some guy to go in and replace when really all i gotta do it pop it out and put a new one in..... the problem is that i cant seem to get the cover off of the speaker.... it feels like theres just one thing that i need to undo to get to it but i dont wanna break anything in the process and then have to pay for that too......Any help is much appriciated.....Thanks

i believe the cover comes off with the speaker, it should be one whole unit, or at least pop out like one and then get them apart........

 

I was told the dash had to be pulled apart.[:@]
