Default spun bearing

my 98 eclipse has a spun bearing what should i do?....i hear its a common problem and rumor has it u can still run on it by doing sumthing..but im not sure wut it is...can someone help me out please!!!

Dont run the car. it needs a new motor or a rebuild. its not common unless you dont stay on top of your oil pressure since that is what usually cause a bearing to let go

well i was thinking of jus running it till its gone......and after i was planning to doing a swap on the same engine....would the swap be dificult?...or it will be a plug and play...

the motor is gone, it will just ruin everything. do you have a turbod car? even so your going to be putting metal shavings all over the inside the motor. so you can run it, but it wont last long and you will be hurting youself even more.

so wuts the cheapest and quikest way to fix it?.....is it possible to sell the engine with the spun bearing?....

to get a new motor or rebuild the one you got depending on how long you drove on it. you might be able to sell it but not for alot because it has a spun bearing.

Depends also if it is Turbo or not. If not youll have a hard time finding a home for it

sh*t can it & get another running engine, will be cheaper and faster
every time i spina bearing my engine barely makes it 10 more miles before it throws a rod, and you drive a day & a half on it without it spittin parts, lol
