Anyone have this problem or having it now? I just bought a 96 GST spyder and everything was going great until I tried to put the top down and realized that the two upper stack control arms are bent. I did some reading online without much success but I gather that this has happened to a few people. Unfortunately, there was no available solution to this problem. If the OEM ones suck do I just get some custom jobs made out of something stronger or is there a simpler way to go about this?

There are TSBs for the covertible top for replacing the control arms, velcro problem with lining and several other problems with the top. You can purchase a one year subscription at the Alldata site for all the TSBs. My subscription ran out this year.
