starter installation
 
well my starter just gave out,anyone know if its hard to install a new one?im really low on money so imma need to install it myself,or any pictures i can see of installation

Its really not too bad, just pull the battery out and tray and remover the two bolts that hold it to the bellhousing. Its in the back of the engine under the intake manifold. Make sure you reattach the ground for the starter.

I am going by 1gen experience but its in the same area.

I checked alldata you have to remove the battery and air box and intake hose. You should be able to take out of the top. It doesnt give very good instructions.

does anyone know where the starter is on the 2nd gen?i did what dsm1990gsx told me and i cant see the starter from the top,i took out the battery,intake hose from manifold and the plate under the battery and couldnt see anything,please help

Its under the intake manifold its hard to see just stick your hand back there and feel around. You should be able to see from under the car too.

ok ill check tomoroow,cuz its too dark now but are you 100%sure?
