Default starting problem

I got a 99 RS and last night I noticed I was low on gas when I got home, this morning I started the car and went in the house.I went back out and it wasn't running,it wouldn't start back.I left it because I was running late.Went to advanced auto, got plugs and wires, starting fluid and jumper cables.I used a little starter fluid and tried to start it,it tried like hell but wouldn't.I havn't changed the plugs yet,I put about a gallon of gas in it too,the car is on a hill,if it ran out of gas how much would it take to gett gas back to the motor?

I'd say put a couple more gallons in it at least. Also another thing to do is turn the key to the run position then off then run then off each time it's on run wait 2-3 seconds. Doing this forces the fuel pump to prime the line. Every time you turn the key from off to the on position the fuel pump runs for 2-3 seconds then stops. Doing this repeatedly without trying to start forces a prime.

you just need to add more gas as sang said. Thats the only possible solution. I can't see it being anything else. Let us know how it goes.
