stereo 6x9's and door speakers
is there any site online with a complete how-to on removing the stock speakers? both front and back for eclipse's?
im kinda having problems doing it myself. i think i broke something. the dealer was giving me a hard time giving me a simple 4 digit code to unlock the stock stereo, so i said screw it im putting an aftermarket one. i bought a pioneer stereo system, and its pretty awesome. but my speakers suck. so i tried opening the driver door's panel, and my first attempt on yanking it, something snapped. i thought it was as easy as the honda i had where it popped open.... |
RE: stereo 6x9's and door speakers
The entire door panel needs to be removed to do that... JSYK.
Though, you may want to check thru the VFAQs and see what they got to offer... I dont think it goes into speaker install... but it may give you ways to remove the panels... |

its pretty easy man, for the front youll have to remove the door panels first remove all the screws and i believe the restare snapins and for the rear speakers youll have to remove the rear panels but those are just screws no popins
