strange idle

im driving a 97 gst and i just put on my e3 16g, boost gauge and home-made boost controller, the thing is, im pretty positive i have all my hoses and lines set up right and i have no boost leaks (spent hours checking and double checking for leaks) but whenever i have my boost controller hooked up i get a weird idle surge, almost sounds like i got cams lol. the way i have it set up is a t-off between the intake mani. and the bov and that connects to the side of the mbc, the bottom of the mbc connects to the turbo (this is the correct flow of my mbc just in case you were going to ask). this is how the diagrams showed it hooked up so i assume it is right. now, whenever i take off the mbc and hook from the turbo to the solenoid and take off the t section between the mani. and the bov, which is how it was hooked up stock on the t25, i get no idle surge but the boost is going crazy. I thought the solenoid was what controlled the boost on the stock turbo, so im wondering why it is not controlling the boost on the 16g, also i was wondering if there was any way to stop my idle surge whenever i have the mbc hooked up.

yes, it is on for my temp sensor, i think my thermostat is going out, but it was on before the 16g was put in so i dont think that will be the problem. i am getting a new thermostat next friday after i get payed :/ but like i said, doubt that is the prob.

k i scanned the comp and this is wat i got
the low coolant temp code, dont remember which it is and a p0505 or p5050 cant remmeber which but it was something about idle control failure :/ if that helps
