Default Swap

Was hoping someone could help me figure out what kind of motor I could swap mine with! I have a 95 Eclipse gs and it just doesn't have enough GO! Thanks!

Sell it and buy a gs-t or gsx. That's about your only good options, unless you want to try to figure out a way to drop a 4G 2.4 liter but that's just as bad as trying to drop a turbo motor (4g63-t) motor in there. *wiring harness, ecu, drive shaft, gas tank, axels, ... catch my drift?

Yeah, I figured that would be the only thing people would tell me! It definetly seems like the best and easiest idea, I just figured that I would check to see if someone had another idea... I have put A LOT of work into the car just to make it 'my own' and was hoping someone out there had a badass swap. My dad has a 91 Miata theat he loves, but it didn't have enough power, since it only had a 1.6 liter! So... he found a guy that sells kits to drop in a 5.0 liter HO Mustang motor in it! I helped him quite a bit with his swap and it just made me wonder... Does anybody have something like this for an Eclipse?! ya know?

Honestly that Miata is probably faster than your car.

What kind of modifications do you have in the car so far?
