Hi,I was wondering about this turbo T3/T4 T04E with ext. wastegate, and was a gift from my friend.Does this turbo fit on my 2G-GST? also, it seems that the 02 housinghas 5 bolts and is different from the stock one. Do you guys know where to getsuch 02 housing or direct downpipe for this turbo? any website? any suggestion to solve it?

Well first off its simply called t3/to4e you dont say it twice. Doesnt really matter though just figured id tell you. Also to me that doesnt look like an external wastegate one. Thats an internal wastegate. Thats why you have the second opening there. The couple things you need is gonna be a new manifold cuz the T3 wont bolt up to the stock mitsu one. And youll need a new downpipe and o2 housing.

The manifold you can get froma couple manufacturers that i know of. Turbonetics, and Magnus motorsports both make one. Youll have to blockoff the ext. wastegate port on them since yours is internal.

The o2 housing is tough. Im not really sure where to get that one from. Same goes for the downpipe

but it's exactly look like what I have now. It seems that there is a small hole too, doesn't it?
I think I saw a post about someone else's turbo (looks similar with mine) has been installed on his 2G GST which has blue engine cap. I was gonna ask him but couldn't find his post anymore.

 

Yup that is internally gated.

 

How much boost and max-HP could it gain? I found a downpipewith the same shape an model I guess, but it's for integra or civic I dont remember. [:@]. How come the gasket for it has just one big hole, and no small hole if that hole is internal gated..... which one is better TD05H (16G ifI ain't mistaken-mycurrent turbo on my car)and this turbo? Sorry kinda stupid question, but seriously I have no idea about this turbo

well ill tell you the turbo you have is a really good turbo. It capable of about 500hp. Without supporting mods you really cant boost much. Cuz you need to upgrade fuel and have a way to tune it.This turbo it far better than a 16g and the stock turbo

 

i agree save that turbo for a later date and build your car u with your current turbo it would be more benifficial. cause once youve built and tuned then swap the t3/t4 on and there you go more power .

 

What about the turbo lag of this turbo? Do you guys know a website named Dejon ... something? i couldnt find it, could you give me the website?
