Default Tail pipe flame

Just curious, i was driving on the highway a few days ago and saw a supra. As it past me i noticed a little puff of flame from the exhaust tail pipe. Thought it was kinda kewl and wondered is there something wrong with his car or is that a normal thing. Is it some sort of flame thrower kit.

It is un burned gas ingnition from heat in the exhuast. My car does that all the time it is just the type of gas and tune the car has If you have a full exhaust with no cat the car will do that

Ohh okay so is the flame a constant thing or does it happen during shift or WOT or what. Just wondering if the driver can control it and cause it to do that when he/she wants.

You need to shift at redline or rev really high and le off the throttle really fast... or you can get a flamer kit that is basically like a spark plug in your exhaust tip and also an engine kill switch... so when you rev up the car... hit the kill switch no fuel is being burnt so its all being thrown into the exhaust and it ignites..

no y ou dont, I can get a flame and backfire at 4k it all depends on how you take your foot of the gas pedal. I was doing it on purpose the other day and like 60%of the time it works
