The sad thing about CW is that if its going to happen its going to happen, and there arent any indications that it may happen until it already is. Its still not completely understood, but yes there are ways to delay it from happening. Basically aftermarket heavy clutches, improperly adjusted clutches, and keeping the clutch pushed in all the time at lights can increase the likelihood of it happening and should be avoided. It is most common on the 7 bolts, they were made in America and the crankshaft bearings were out of spec. 6 bolts were made better in Japan, but heavy clutches can even cause them to crankwalk although its pretty uncommon.

jus for reference 6 bolts are 89-mid 92, after the the rest of the 1g's were 7 bolts as well.
Still I dont think I did bad for a 420a guy. , Thanks for clearing that up tho.
