You gain a lot of noise and you'll shoot fireballs out of your tail pipe. You may gain another 2-5hp compared to a highflow cat.
Do you have a turbo big enough to justify it though?

i agree with silver, your really not gonna see a whole lot more gain unless your running an upgraded turbo

im still running stock turbo. my cat was badly clogged and i did not want to spend 200 on a good high flow cat. so i just had them make me a test pipe for around 80. im not worried to much in the hp gains, what i am mainly wandering is how quickly the turbo will spool up.

You wont feel a difference. Your car might take a little longer to start though.

Why didnt you just gut the cat?

I have a straight pipe welded onto my car, I seen having a cat as one more spot to have an exhaust leak. I don't shoot flames. My car starts perfectly and it is not loud at all. I would say its preferenceif you want a test pipe put one on if you want it to be a little quieter go with what sebba said and hollow out your cat.
