Thread torn:Window of convertible top?
 

Hi Has anyone ever had a problem with the thread sort of unraveling on the back window in the convertible top? Mine (98 eclipse spyder) has been like that for a while and it started as a really small about a half inch where you could see the thread gone. Now its about two inches and youcan pretty much see where it should be sewn up. I have been noticing it leaking alot more lately too. I was thinking about buying some automotive grade thread and a water resistant sealant and trying to fix it myself. Anyone have anysuggestions?Thanksfor the help.
