Whats the stick tire size on a 2g with 17"s?

I gota free set of 215/45/zr17 Bridgestone Potenza RE92's from work, and after I go get my rims from AGallardo I was gonna put new tires on them.

Is that size ok without a rub??

i don't know about 17's but i have 225/40/18 and i don't have any problem with rubbing. of course when i finally lower my car an inch or so i might be worried

As long as the offset of the rim is from ~42mm-46mm, you'll be fine with that. I never knew the 97+ had stock 17s, but the ones that do/did used 215/50/17s.

Yea, I was fairly certain... that 2gBs used 16s... but I could be wrong. Unless, he was using the word stock... (Or stick, lol) outta context.

Either way, thats the exact size I use on my TSi... and I have no rub problems... lol
