which turbo is better??

I was thinking of gettin a G16 turbo for my 97 auto GS-T spyder because ppl have told me its the best turbo to put in a eclipse, my other option is to leave my stock turbo and get an stage II upgrade which will have me run low 14's. Can anyone give me some advice?

I think you mean a 16g and this really depends on your application. First determine what your end goal is and work towards it.

Depends on how much power you want, a 16g will give you a good output of power and you won't have to spend a ton of money on it. Other options would be like a 20g or something like a 50 trim.

yes it depends on what you want to do and how much money you have. I would opt for the 16g turbo because its relatively cheap, you dont need to upgrade a million things at once prety much just a fuel pump, and you can take your time building your car. but if you stay with your stock turbo an work on other things you can still get the 16g later on. the stock turbo wont get you very far but the16g can take you into low 12's and its possible to hit 11's.

I forgot to mention that the other turbos that are bigger than the 16g you will have to other mods for them to work w/o blowing up your car. For the 16g though you will want larger injectors, fuel pump with regulator, intake, exhaust, bov, porting(Depends if you want to), and a fuel controller. With a 16g you can run 21 PSI all day and not have anything breaking in your car, but for say a 50 trim you would have to modd all your internals for it to run to its full potential.
