RE: Turbo problem ( I think)...
yea its not the turbo being blow that is smoking. Its just that turbo cars burn oil and that is the black smoke that you are seeing. I would check out the plugs and see if they have any oiil on them, you could have some sort of leak in there. And like i said before too it also may be a fuel issue or even a MAS issue. Not sure on the MAS thing though i could be wrong

Well, that death whine you are talking about... When i am on the gas, it doesnt make that noise. But when i let go of the gas, it makes a "whiny" noise. Is that the noise you guys are talking about?

And also you can check you shaft play on the turbo on the inlet of the compressor housing see if the shaft holding the compressor wheel and blades doesnt move if you wiggle it around.

I changed the spark plugs and its still doing the same thing. I have not gotten any spark plug wires. Do you think that would help?

Hey guys. I have another question. I am planning on adding performance parts now, but I have about 130,000 miles on my 95 GST. I am planning on putting on full catback exhaust, intake, headers. But do you guys recommend, buying a new turbo first?

well those mods really wont do much more strain on the turbo, so if your turbo is good then i would get the mods first. And even if you were planning on putting a bigger turbo in then you still should get the mods first
