i just got a apexi turbo timer but i also have a viper alarm. i was wondering if any of you guys know if there is a way to modify the alarm so that you can arm the car even with it running?? thanks

 

not sure about viper but alot of alarms like Code and so on have turbo timers built in or a feature to allow one to be used. If you have your old manual to the alarm check to see if it is compatable.

 

Check with whomever installed your alarm system if you had it professionally done (I assume being a Viper alarm you had it done at a shop).

 

Some turbo timers are also "alarm aware". They'll have a connector that does not arm the alarm until the turbo timer shuts the engine down or if the park brake is disengaged (manual trans) or gear is shifted out of park (auto trans). Read your TT docs for details.
