Default Turbocharging?

I have a '92 DOHC Laser and was wondering if it's possible, and if so how, to turbocharge it... would I be able to fit this turbo onto it?

Ohh fo sho it will fit. The EVO 3 turbo is a rather standard turbo upgrade on most Eclipses, RRE has the BIG 16G, and thats only tiny bit smaller than an 18G.

Def fine with that. Plenty of places out there that should make a kit for it.

You're going to need a new head (Or at least the valves ports widened and a bigger set of valves). You'll need an intercooler and the exhaust manifold will need changed and a BOV installed. I'm not sure what else you'll nee but that will give you a good start.

sigh...... sorry but its not as easy as you think, really. of course people are going to say "oh fo sho it will fit" but really, go to www.vfaq.com under turbo and read the section written on turbo'ing a nonturbo, you will see how complicated it really is, there is about 100 things you need to change and see if you still want to do it, its definitely going to be a big job...

hey I hate to sound like a ***** and dont wanna start gay flame wars but...
a 16G is considered a direct bolt on for 1G cars and...
the man only asked would it fit and on a 1G you do not need a new head and all that good junk, it would just be a more than good idea to get. and finally...
I did not know this was a NT car or I would have done some 'splanin to the man.

Now see I was told that to put any turbo on a car you had to have the larger valved head. Also I don't know for sure if the same computer that is used for an N/T engine can be used with a turbo engine (I'm not to good with the computer thing yat still learning THAT area)Of course you need to change the exhaust manifold and the downpipe as well as change O2 sensor right? Also the fuel rails and injectors need done right? I mean for things to be done and work right it should?
