i find it ridiculous that i have to go to the dealership for them to make me wait for then to press a couple numbers on the radio just to unlock it so i can enjoy some music while driving. and then make me pay so much for something as simple as that.

i really dont feel like doing that.

You dont have to pay or anything... just call up there... Worked for me. Theyll ask you for your VIN I think.

 

yea thats pretty dumb that they are not giving you the code. You should be able to get it from them. Then just write it down, and youll never have to go back again

 

Ya.. I have a stock radio that I can sell ya if you cant get it with the code

 

Sometimes, there is a card with the owners manual that has the unlock code on it.
Mine was fortunate enough to have it

another way of saying "lets waste your time and empty your pockets for something you could have done yourself."

say screw it and drop in an aftermarket, all i did.

 

i went straight to a dealer, my sales guy wasn't very helpful at the lot where i got mine. so i said screw it, went to a Mitsu dealer, and he took my VIN down, and got the code for me

 

some mitsu dealers are dumb and wont give you the code. I would just call up a different one and see if they will give it to you
