The 420a and the 4G64 are equally underpowered... not to mention w/o extensive headwork, cannot hold much boost... so thusly are pointless engines as far as motorsports are concerned... Youre right Engineer... they prolly wouldnt read it... but it would give the rest of us informed people, a person to belittle lol

I dont totally agree with the 4g64 part however. Because that is a pretty damn good engine to boost with a 4g63 head swap. The spyder version of the engine isnt all that great but the 3g GS engine is really good. You can boost 10psi on the stock block and run decent hp. So i wouldnt talk those down too much.

Sorry, tru, tru, I should have been more specific... I was referencing 2Gs in specific. My knowledge on the (redone?) version of the 4G64 in the 3G is extremely limited.

dude his car is a "4 banger turbo" too then . they arnt v6. And my guess is he probably wasnt running alot of psi on it. or he wasnt racing and you thought he was . But anyway they can be pretty respectable cars, and when i say that i mean running 13's and 12's with a nice turbo setup. The really build ones are running even lower. Of course the 2g's are cheaper to make faster since from the start they already are, but i wouldnt count out being smoked by a well built 3g GS

See? Thats why I dont boost my 3G! Its a 6cyl, and apparently, everyone but like Tearstone has killed thier 6G72s by forcing induction

The heads go... they just dont hold boost very well. Heard many sordid stories...Also, 5OUL, V6 badges are only on the sides of 3Gs... the ones on the back are on 4Gs.
