Default VIPER ALARM

ok so im getting a viper alarm real cheap from best buy (hook up) for about $150 its the one with lcd keychain and all that good stuff. The instal would be another hundred but I'm just wondering if this is hard to do myself? OR does it need to be installed by a PRO?

I have one in mine with a remote start and the wiring is a lot. It will also open the sunroof and windows with one signal and turn on the radio with another. I called to get a wiring diagram to add a led light and for some reason the model I have they only give them out to installers. Had to con theinstaller into giving me one.

yah.. but if you ain't within range of your car that remote wont do you anything. Also when ever i am in a mall there alot of interference. I normally find out that the warning alert for the alarm was activated after i unlock the car. It good for attracting attention to your car when something does happen though. I have the viper 5000 model claims to have a range of 1 mile. It doesn't. Just make sure they make the starter disable feature for your alarm functional. That the only thing that can help stop your car from being stolen.

Actualy the lot is right by my store and my friend has the same alarm and he got the alert ran outside and some guy started running from his car when he got outside haha. so yeh, not worried about that. It cuz I have a spyder so its easy to just cut the top and break in so thats why I wanted it so I can finally feel good about buying upgrades.
