what to do the head or eng. swap?
Well boys and girls my baby is done for now white steam every where when i was on the road. I have a 97 gst with "145k". I took the car to a well known tunner guy here in the ATL! He told me the the turbo has locked up and for sure the head gasket is done! he alsotold me that he will call me when the heads come off! I need some big time advice on the best thing to do with little money? Don't get me wrong I want the best for my baby but the cost is getting into the $1800 range. He told me Things To think about "redo head", "new turbo"?? if i do all this how long will the bottom end last should i just do a rebuild please say NO but keep it real! lol ! man I don't know what to do I can do [:@]alot of the work myself but no time i have to work and i need the car to get running! ... the car never ran hot and had oil the hole time..!

That is BULL**** right there. If it really is the turbo, you can get another for like 100 bucks. The head you can change the head gasket yourself for about 200 bucks.
Do you have the ***** to do it yourself?

yea, it is a tight fit, but you just have to twist tangle and reach lol.. sk8, i think they mean they have about eveything but the intake off.. since the intake is all you need to remover from the back

Leave the Intake on the head. Its alot easier. You dont need to take it off. Just take anything connnecting to the intake manifold off and then the manifold can come right out with the head.
