RE: what model is this?

its a rs, the front bumper indicates that its a 97+, so the small wing means that its a gs or rs. Now the gs has side skirts and a rear windshield wiper... which that lacks. Also its no a v6 only the 2000+ gt's and gts's came with a v6.

just the fact that the person tried to say that it had a V6, that would be reason enough to look elsewhere for an eclipse. theres no telling what else they are lying about.

NO, he was right about the year models. 95-96 had the short wing on it, and some of the 97's maybe 98 had the short wing also

95's and 96's gsx/gst looked exactly like the gs/rs ecxept for the muffler tip, which was dual. Also the 95's featured rims that no other year had. Another thing that you can use to tell if its a 95/96 their was a thin bar of colored plastic that ran around the bottom of the car.

97 they changed the front bumper/back bumper, removed the bar, added the basket handel wing, and side skirts on the gsx/gst. they also changed the rims for the gst/gsx/gs to 17' and the rs got 14'. Again they kept the dual muffler tip on all 4g63's.

99 they had an 10 anversary option, the gst/gsx got oz racing rims and the gs got the basket handel wing and the oz racing rims.

For the spyder its impossible to tell which is a gst or gs. The 4g64 motor sported the dual muffler tip along with the 4g63. The only way to tell is by looking for the side mount.
