What mods to start with
I have a 97 eclipse spyder gs-t and I have around $500-800 to spend and I was wondering what I should start with. Some things I'm considering are a chip, intake, and blow off valve.

RE: What mods to start with
i would start even simpler than that... get an exhaust... that's basically the first mod that a lot of people build from because it helps to not restrict any other mod that you do

RE: What mods to start with
I've been lookin at exhaust systems and theres a large range of prices. How much of a difference is there between one of the top end exhaustsand a mid range ones?

RE: What mods to start with
Don't look at ebay... and the price gap suddenly isn't there

RE: What mods to start with
What would be a good system to buy?

RE: What mods to start with
Really the first thing you should do is make sure your up to date w/ servicing your car, timing belt and filters. Then do the "free" mods on dsm tuners.com. Then exhaust, mbc, boost gauge,k&n filter, and hard i/c piping.

RE: What mods to start with
anything with the buscher name your gonna be spending more $$ then you really need to.
Im personally gonna be going with the thermal R&D exhaust.. Not to expensive and not to cheap, ive had a few friends around me that had these and absolutely loved it.. http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...134&page=1 |
RE: What mods to start with
But also, it wouldnt hurt getting a boost gauge/controller/1st gen bov (cheaper then a greddy or equivelant and works good for slightly modded dsm's)/ Nice cold air intake. You should be able to get those things without upgrading anything else and still be able to add some power..
