At what point is the 255lph fuel pump no good?
Ok my question is when does the 255lph fuel pump maxed out? My friend is building a 650+hp talon and i need all the help i can get

you absolutely do not need a dual. that's only for drag/strip racing.

well the question really is does your friend have the basic 255 fuel pump or the high pressure fuel pump. If its the normal one then you may get some problems. You will basically need the high pressure one, which is what i think the one that woody posted from buchar

Im fairly sure its the high pressure. I could be wrong.
The car WILL be a drag car running 10s very soon..... if not 9s. Thats why i asked because i have seen the dual 255 setup before. |

if you're drag/strip in a 10sec possibaly 9's, i'd look into an whole different set up. i'm talking a bladder or custom fuel cell with a much larger single pump. two pumps is extra weight, money, time for nothing. so i'd say no to a dual pump on a 10 or 9 sec car.
