where to start on stock 2000 eclipse GT
 

some one please help me i just bought a stock 2000 eclipse GT and really want to get started turning it into a true street car however i dont know where to start first so if anyone has any ideas that would be great.

First off, I'd start with some rims, since that is the most noticable thing everyone sees. Next you should lower it with either lowering springs or coilovers. Depending on the sound you want, there are plenty of exhaust systems out there. Get a AEM cold air intake. I hear the V2 intake is the best. Also cam gears and pulley kits will boost some extra horsepower. Possibly a body kit, if your into that. For stereo system, go with Alpine, JL Audio, MB Quarts to name a few brands.

Then like the other guy said. Nice wheels lower it don't forget to work on the brakes. No sense in going fast if you can't stop. Suspension is a big factor then work on show.
