i have a stock '92 eclipse that i was wanting to fix up, i already have plans for the body kits and what not, but i was wanting help on what to do with the stock SOHC 1.8L engine (i was planing engine swap but not sure what would fit in or what would cost more and cant find any FAQ's on the net to help)

anybody offer help?

 

have fun with the 1.8, thats not exactlly the best engine. theres been stories of the pistons shooting thru the hood at high revs. but for performance check www.machv.com or e-cat on nopi. for suspension i suggest sprint spings. strut bars are a must to get rid of the horrible first gen body roll. now for an engine swap you would need the engine, tranny, ecu, battery, altenator, clutch. if your gonna spend the money find a junked talon laser or eclipse turbo and grab everything but the engine. for 1200 dollars you can pick up a brand new cyclone engine pushing 230 hp. any thing else let me know i can help. also i have 20,000 dollars in mine, get a good job.

 

where would i find the cyclone engine at? like what kinda website or whatever?... and frankly i dont like the comment about me getting a job i have no idea where you got that from
