Will it fit
My friend is selling me his front mount and piping for $100. Its fine, iv looked at it like 30 times, the car literally has sat there for a year and a half.
Will the front mount fit comfy in a 96 GST ( the front end that looks like its smiling) if the dimentions are 28'x12x'3' and does anyone have a pic of one And when i saw comfy i mean i dont want to have to hack the front end to hell and back to make it fit becuase if i do im just buy a body kit from my friend for mass cheap. |

Yup, it will fit...but with the stock 95-96 fascia, that fmic will only get about half of it exposed to the incoming air. You will need a 97-99 fascia or hack your stock bumper as you feared, to get the full cooling capability of that fmic.
BTW, you fascia opening and mine are about the same in height. I've got a 30x7x3 fmic, with all the fins exposed to incoming air. Oh yeah, for $100, I'd get it. You can get a different fascia before you put that fmic on. Just don't put it on with the stock turbo (I forget if you upgraded it or not, sorry). |

worste case... get it for 100. if you don't like the way it looks. sell it for a bit more and then get one that fits.... that or get a 2gb front bumper and head lights for a conversion. or modify your current fron bumper to expose more to the FMIC. there are many options.
