just so you know 5% = 5% of light makes it through, so lower percentages are darker.
Basically 5% is like limo tint, and most people get ~15% so its up to you. 35% is pretty light.
Find out what kind of tint the shop uses and if they have a lifetime warranty against peeling/bubbling/ If they dont its probably crappy tint. Solarguard is a good brand.

i'm not advsing you to go darker BUT it is very rare to get a ticket for tint being to dark. 1 they can not pull you over for just tint b/c it's not a moving violation. 2. they have t have a tint darkness checker with them to actually give you a ticket for it... unles it's like 1%, they put their magnalight up to it and can't see anythin on the other side lol. i did 7%... it wasn't tooo tooo dark, you could still see inside if you were up close but it looked really good from the outside.
