wont start

Default wont start

well i just tried to start my car and it wont turn over. when i put the key in i cant get it to move at all. its an automatic talon esi.

would this happen from the transmission going out?

its probly a starter is gone. dose it make a clicking sound beacuse then its the starter

nope no noise at all. the key wont move at all and i cant even take it out of park

the only thing i can think is that it stormed here last night and i had my windows cracked for a little bit of the storm. other than that i know my transmission is going out.

i dont think the trans going out would cause this but could the car have slid in any dirrection cus my jeep did something simmilar so i jacked it up and it turned over right away, i think the flywheel got jambed or soemthing. try that it might work but not 100% sure just a guess

well i didnt have a jack so i just pushed the car back and forth then just tried to move the steering wheel and hit the brake and anything else possible to start it and i got it to start. idk what is wrong with it.

i hate automatics......

My guess on this would be the ignition switch (cylinder and key). If the witch goes out then the key could become stuck. maybe there is something jammed into where you turn your key. Just a quick thought.
