02 eclipse gs, to buy or not to buy?
 

i am looking at buying a 02 eclipse gs from a privte party. note: ive never owned or driven a mitsubishi. the car is in good condition with 90000 miles. kelly blue book says the value of the car is at $6800. the owner is asking $10000, however he has put about $5000 in the car. such changes include body kit, headers, exhaust, cold air intake, rims, a lowering of 2", hi preformance shocks, struts, springs, very good audio system, interior lights, and a few other preformance parts that dont come to mind at the moment. is this a decent buy or a complete rip off? any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

honestly i dont think id buy that car for that much. I would say 8,000 would be a good deal on it. Im sure from what youve said that the person did alot of work. But most of it is all looks. It doesnt really change the fact that the car is slow.
