2000 Eclipse AC Light Blinking
 

Hi all first time here, I hope someone can give me some information.

I brought my wife's car into local shop for 60,000 timing belt repair and water pump. The car came back the next day with the
AC light blinking on the dashboard. Brought the car back the next day, got a phone call a couple of hours later telling me I
need a new compressor $600. I know we had a couple of warm days RIGHT before he did the work and everything was
working normal NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. Can anyone give me a heads up on to what to look for (disconnected plug, maybe
free-on leaked out...,etc....)

Hiya-
Just encountered the same blinking problem...has happened in the past before sporadically but in the past its gone away.
Any ideas as to what the @#$ happened?
