2000 eclipse rs how would i turbo it

hey everyone i have a 2000 ecpiplse rs and i want to turbo it. i've heard that the 4g63 manifold and turbo fits on my 4g64 block. im wondering what else i need to make it functional. aside from intercooler piping rods and pistons.

No rods and pistons needed. Yes the manifold bolts right on.

If you wnat the most reliable power with quality parts call up Russ from www.tearstone.com that kit is great. your stock motor can handle 10-15PSI and that can make you arouns 300HP.

Other wise you have a very large list of parts you need to buy in order to make a kit (take it from me cause I did that with the same car and it was not worth it I spen almost $4k in parts and still wasnt done there) it is more suitable to go with the tearstone kit.

Yeah look into a kit for the turboing. But also do your research on what you're getting into. Turboing a N/A engine isn't a simple task of slapping on a turbo, manifolds, and an IC. There are adjustments needed for fuel, ECU, and whatnot. It's not an easy nor a cheap thing to do. Look EVERYTHING up that you can about what you're getting into. You'll be glad you did when you finally go into the project. I'm a FIRM believer in research. I read up and studied what I needed to do for my car (88 Conquest TSi) for timing and balance shaft removal LONG before I even had ordered the parts. And I'm still asking questions about the job (Mostly torque specs though but then who memorizes torque specs eh?).
